Recently, we won a case of an immigrant boy from El Salvador who was waiting for a green card for five years. We represented him in both Family court, before USCIS and Immigration court. Initially, he was not aware of his chance to receive a green card in the United States, and only after our consultation he learned about US government program for foreign children that lead to a green card. We were honored to represent him and make a different in his life.

The most important focus for us is solving client´s immigration challenge. We want to make sure we weigh all available options and together with the client we choose the path that will be the most suitable for them. VAWA Benefits for Abused Spouses, Children and Parents  (2021-12-08 22:23:57)
VAWA or Violence Against Women Act allows certain qualifying non-citizens to obtain US permanent residency without the need of being petitioned by their US citizen or lawful permanent resident family member. The law covers abused spouses and children of US citizens and lawful permanent residents, and parents of US citizens who turned 21 years of age.

Consular Processing for US Immigrant Visas  (2022-01-09 17:47:54)
One of the ways a person may become a permanent resident in the USA, is when he or she entered the USA with an immigrant visa that was issued to him or her at a US consulate overseas. The process of receiving such an immigrant visa is referred to as "consular processing." Consular processing is being supervised by the Department of State, and is subject to rules contained in the Foreign Affairs Manual published by the Department of State of "FAM".

Immigration Court Motion To Reopen  (2022-01-26 19:41:36)
A motion to reopen is necessary when one has an order of removal or deportation but needs a second chance in court. A motion to reopen is different from an appeal where a respondent would ask a higher authority to review the same evidence and arguments. A motion to reopen typically would be filed after a respondent discovered new, previously unavailable evidence that is capable of changing the outcome of the case. Before submitting a motion to reopen, one has to verify that he or she complies with the requirements including deadlines, format, and substance.
