Amanda Baggett is a leading female personal injury attorney in Northeast Florida. She has specialized expertise in cases involving construction law, such as roadway design and construction issues.

Before becoming a partner at Baggett Law Personal Injury Lawyers in 2015, Amanda spent many years working as a defense counsel for contractors and engineers in personal injury and wrongful death cases.

Ms. Baggett has been recognized and awarded several times for being a true advocate. • -Defense counsel for national engineering firm in various lawsuits concerning design, inspection and project administration issues. Notable cases include multi-party wrongful death lawsuit following fatal accident involving drunk driver in construction zone and litigation over construction of runway at Pensacola Airport. -Defense counsel for CEI subconsultant in case involving large-scale FDOT project, claims for professional negligence and damages totaling more than $111 million. Achieved favorable settlement following filing of complex motions for summary judgment. -Lead counsel for local engineering firm on risk management and business matters including preparation, review and negotiation of contracts, lien issues and collection matters. -Defense counsel for national engineering firm on multi-party case involving claims of personal injury and wrongful death arising from accident at wastewater treatment facility. Obtained favorable settlement prior to trial. -Lead counsel for local contractor in various construction and property-related lawsuits and claims, including arbitration victory in hotly-contested case brought by foreign purchaser alleging various theories of fraud, including claim based on Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act. -Defense counsel for national contractor on large federal case involving claims based upon delays and extra work on luxury resort project. Obtained dismissal of several causes of action, and remaining claims settled prior to trial.
