Amanda Best | Denville Divorce and Family Law Lawyer

Amanda L. Best, Esq. has years of experience as a family law attorney, beginning with her law school internships at the Administration for Children’s Services, the Legal Aid Society (Juvenile Rights Division), and the Education Law Center.  While at Legal Aid, Amanda wrote a supporting brief for an appellant that resulted in the Supreme Court of the State of New York, Appellate Division, Second Department, reversing a trial court order (Matter of T’Yanna M. v. Rashida M., 811 N.Y.S.2d 118).  This decision was later cited by both the Appellate Division (In re Christopher Anthony M., 848 N.Y.S.2d 711) and the Buffalo Law Review (57 Buffalo L. Rev. 587).

After graduating from the City University of New York School of Law, Amanda had the honor and privilege of serving as law clerk to the Hon. Richard M. Freid, J.S.C., in the Passaic County Family Court in New Jersey.  She was an associate attorney with Bubb Grogan & Cocca, LLP, in Morristown, New Jersey, before joining Albino Ullmann Laemers & Pompelio, LLC (later Faith A. Ullmann & Associates, LLC), as an associate attorney in Sussex County, New Jersey.

In addition to her current role as managing attorney of Best Law Office, LLC, Amanda volunteers and provides pro bono services to clients of local organizations, including Project Self Sufficiency.  She is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, the Morris County Bar Association, the Sussex County Bar Association, and the Warren County Bar Association.  She serves as Vice Chairperson of the Town of Newton Historic Preservation Commission.  Amanda is a native of North Carolina and a graduate of both Saint Mary’s School and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
