Attorney A. Bradley McClain is a graduate of the University of Akron School of Law. He also holds an M.Ed, master's degree in Higher Education from Kent State University and a B.A. in English from the University of Akron.

He has been in private practice for ten years.

Prior to that, he worked as a college administrator and as an educational consultant, providing such services throughout the United States. He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Akron Barristers, and the Akron Bar Association where he serves on the Grievance Committee.

Please describe a case(s) in the last year or two where you made a big difference.
I was hired for a divorce case that had a few different issues, which my client and I faced one by one. Afterwards, he was so happy that he literally jumped up and clicked his heels as we left the court house.

How did you build a successful practice?
I had a mentor who led me through a lot of circumstances and guided me along the way. He was one of the most successful attorneys in Akron who has since retired. He gave me excellent advice on matters that came up.

What should clients look for in a lawyer?
Communication and passion.

How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?
People in Akron know me. I went to high school or college with a lot of the people in the area.

What information can you provide in a phone consultation?
I always try to persuade people to come in to my offices so I can talk to them. I really like to sit down with my potential clients. The first 30 minutes is no charge.

What information do you need in a free phone consultation?
I like to exchange contact information with my clients right away. The name, their address, and a way to contact them later. This way I can listen to them and then work towards resolving their questions.
