Angela Jean Richards, Attorney

Angela J. Richards joined the firm as an associate in October 2009. She received her B.A. degree in History from Oberlin College in 1998. Ms. Richards received her J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Minnesota in 2002. While in law school, Ms. Richards was awarded the 2001 Upper Midwest Human Rights Fellowship to intern at the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights in Ankara, Turkey. She also earned 2nd Place Brief in the 2002 Maynard Pirsig Moot Court Competition.

Following her graduation from law school, Ms. Richards spent two years clerking for the Honorable Kathryn A. Sticklen, a Fourth District Judge in Ada County. Ms. Richards spent the following five years practicing primarily In the areas of immigration law and legislative/administrative law.

Ms. Richards is currently licensed to practice In all courts In the State of Idaho, the United States District Court for the District of Idaho and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. She is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), the National Immigration Project of the National Lawyers Guild, Idaho Women Lawyers, Inc.
