I have built a successful firm out of my creativity, hard work, and a keen eye for client needs. How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases? It depends on the type of case. Some cases require adherence to specific local rules. Others do not.
What should clients look for in a lawyer?Someone able to adequately address their needs and give the feedback the client needs to hear, not what the client wants to hear. It is like going to a doctor. If you have cancer, you need to know that and not be told you are healthy. Instead you need the diagnosis and a statement as to what to do next to cure the issue. What differentiates you from other lawyers in your community? My accessibility and service to the client. I can be directly called by my clients at any time. 24/7. I do not feel that a client should have to work around my hours. They have hired me and I should work around them.
What information can you provide in a free phone consultation?I can basically find out the terms of the case and outline a fee. I do not give strategic advice or give help so people can do their own pro bono case.
What information do you need in a free phone consultation?The outline of the case.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?Watching people become happy again after months of sadness/depression. The events that lead to a divorce are very burdensome on most clients and once the divorce is finalized they gain some relief.
What are your other interests in addition to law?I am very passionate about football and mixed martial arts. I train MMA and played football for 8 years. I also enjoy traveling and seeing the gorgeous American countryside.
