Description: I represented a Landlord who had rented an apartment to his wife's cousin. After he raised the tenant's rent she stopped paying rent claiming that she was in an illegal apartment. My client had not raised the rent in over six years. Case Conclusion Date: April 12, 2010 Practice Area: Litigation Outcome: Plaintiff recovered her over paid rent Description: Defendant was a landlord who improperly charged the plaintiff additional rent beyond the amount allowed by Section 8 and tenant sued the landlord to get reimbursed for the rent that she was over charged Case Conclusion Date: April 7, 2010 Practice Area: Family Outcome: Plaintiff won the case Description: Plaintiff wanted to relocate from New Jersey to Florida with her child and the child's father tried to stop her. Client was granted the right to relocate with her child
