I am very down to Earth with my clients. I try to make my clients feel as comfortable as possible especially at the initial consultation. I think this goes a long way with people, and sets the tone for their case all the way through. I think listening and being there for my clients in their time of need has helped me build a successful practice. After their case is concluded, their refer family, friends and colleagues which to me is the best "thank you" I can receive.

Transparency, reliability, responsiveness and honesty.

Very important. Especially with knowing what each Judge expects in their courtroom. Also, knowing the local rules is crucial. There are many firms from other cities that are not familiar with the local rules and file unnecessary motions which end up wasting the court, attorneys and client's time (and money). The outcome of a case can go both ways depending on the attorney's knowledge of the local rules and knowing what each judge requires and expects.

Determine whether or not it's a case that I can handle, and if not, I can possibly refer to another attorney. Answer procedural questions, pricing and schedule a consultation as the next step.

For bankruptcy cases: total monthly gross household income, estimated amount of unsecured debt, mortgage company name/monthly payment/total amount owed and status of pending lawsuits. For divorce cases: marital property (real and personal), minor children born to the marriage, and annual gross income.

Our Legal Fees are very affordable and can often be set up as a series of partial payments. Reasonable rates and willingness to work out terms in payment of fees and related costs has resulted in an ever expanding client base. Furthermore, I am frequently invited to attend roundtable and panel discussions with local attorneys and judges to get my insight on possible legal issues and ongoing concerns in the area of bankruptcy law.

Saving a family's home is one of the most fulfilling aspects of bankruptcy for me. Also, the joy I get from clients when they hug me after a creditor's meeting or final hearing, and tell me ""thank you"" is indescribable.

I love to travel, especially with my family. My parents worked all their lives to make sure I got the proper education and never got a chance to go on vacation. I love taking them along on my out of country excursions so they can experience different countries and cultures with me.

I work with Orange County Legal Aid and the pro se clinic in the bankruptcy court to make sure that low income clients are properly represented in the community.
