Colleen Carboy, Attorney
Ms. Carboy is a trial attorney and Registered Nurse who specializes in complex litigation involving health care. Ms. Carboy uses her experience as a health care provider to help victims of medical negligence. Ms. Carboy is also a frequent invited lecturer for attorney and health care organizations. In addition to achieving successful settlements and verdicts for clients, she vigorously strives to improve health care in Texas by negotiating settlements that include changes in hospital policies and mandatory continuing education for defendant health care providers. Based upon her experience and other qualifications, Ms. Carboy is recognized as being board certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Personal Injury Trial Law. Ms. Carboy was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1991 and is authorized to practice law in all state courts in Texas. Ms. Carboy has been a soloist and Corps de Ballet performer and teacher in several dance companies in Ohio, North Carolina and Texas. She volunteers in her children's school organizations, and has served on the board of directors for her Homeowner's Association.
