Introduction: | Dan is a shareholder in the Business Section in the firm's Midland office. AREAS OF CONCENTRATION Business Entity Formation and Transactions Dan's general business practice includes representing clients in connection with the formation of business entities, purchases and sales of businesses, mergers and reorganizations, lending, and various other contractual arrangements. Securities Law Dan prepares filings for, and otherwise advises, the firms publicly-held clients and clients involved in dealings with publicly-held companies. His securities practice also includes representation of clients in public and private offerings of both equity and debt securities, as well as tender offers, proxy solicitations, and similar securities matters. Bankruptcy Dan's bankruptcy practice is centered around the representation of secured and unsecured creditors in both liquidations and reorganizations. As primarily an office practitioner, Dan teams up with the firms Litigation Section for adversarial and evidentiary proceedings. EDUCATION
