David Paulsen was born in Elmhurst Illinois and raised in Clearwater, Florida. After graduating from Clearwater High School he attended and graduated from St. Petersburg College and then from the University of South Florida where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree. Following many years in local and state law enforcement he attended Western New England University School of Law in Massachusetts where he was selected as a member of the National Moot Court team and competed before the Supreme Court for the State of Rhode Island.
 
While in Massachusetts David practiced law with the now Denner-Pellegrino law firm focusing his representation in personal injury law, workers’ compensation law, business and contract litigation and white collar crime. Since returning to the Tampa Bay area over a decade ago, David has focused his legal representation primarily to helping victims of automobile, motorcycle and watercraft accidents as well as persons who have been injured due to someone else’s carelessness and negligence.
 
Since childhood, David has been an advocate for the outdoors and the many activities and enjoyment they provide. He continues to support and promote sportsmen and the environment and the need to involve persons of all ages to protect and preserve our delicate resources. David maintains his affiliations with many outdoors & environment oriented organizations such as the Coastal Conservation Association (CCA), International Game Fish Association (IGFA), Ducks Unlimited, Quality Deer Management Association, Save the Manatee & the Florida Wildlife Federation.
 
David has been admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the state of Florida, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida (Eleventh Circuit) and the United State District Court –District of Massachusetts (First Circuit). David represents clients throughout the state of Florida and abroad.
