Copelco Capital, Inc. v. Shapiro Outcome: WON Description: In a case of first impression, the NJ Appellate Division determined that equipment leasing companies could not claim jurisdiction over disputes in NJ when the leasee was in another state and had no contacts with NJ other than the claimed jurisdictional language in the lease. State v. Kenison Outcome: No jail time permitted, Court ruled for client defendant Description: Should third time disorderly persons conviction in NJ result in jail time?
