Dianne L. Sawaya, Attorney

Dianne Sawaya was born in Denver and was educated in Colorado, attending schools there from elementary through law school. Dianne was a pre-medicine student at the University of Colorado in Boulder where she received her Bachelor of Arts. Her advocacy skills led her to law school, where she received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Denver College of Law. While attending law school, she was a law clerk at the Denver District Court.

Dianne Sawaya has been licensed for more than 27 years--14 of those years devoted exclusively to the practice of personal injury law. She is committed to protecting the right of unfortunate accident victims. She does not represent any corporations.

Dianne Sawaya has represented thousands of accident victims. For many years, she was a partner in a larger personal injury firm. Drunk Driver/Wrongful Death
A wonderful 23 year old, home on leave from duty in Iraq, was traveling on I-225 when a drunk driver, headed the wrong way on the highway, hit her head on and killed her. Unfortunately, the drunk driver had minimal insurance. We proved prove that our young client had been living with her parents while on leave, thwarting the insurance company's initial denial of additional coverage. We were able to secure a very large award for the young lady's parents.

Motorcycle Accident
A young man, traveling with a passenger was broadsided and sustained major injuries to his legs. Although he had no health insurance, we were able to secure the needed medical attention and obtain a large award from the insurance company.

Semi Truck Crash
Our client and his wife and 5 children were innocently traveling on the highway, when a semi truck overcame them, causing their vehicle to roll. The youngest child, only 8 months old, was flight lifted to the nearest hospital. The entire family received multiple injuries and we were able to gather a medical team to attend to all their medical needs, including psychological intervention and scar revision. Although this case was filed in Federal Court, we were able to settle it before trial for a very large amount.

Bicycle Accident
Our client was riding his bicycle for pleasure when a car negligently back into him, causing a brain injury. We were able to assemble a team of medical providers to care for him. Through thorough investigative work, we were able to locate a very large insurance policy.

Electrocution
Our client was cutting a water pipe, when an improperly grounded water line caused 220 volts of electricity to enter his body. This client was so grievously injured that he did not leave his house for nearly 2 years, nearly loosing the ability to file a law suit due to the Statute of Limitations. We filed this lawsuit for him and located a very large insurance policy.
