- Judge Kitchens has received many awards: Minden’s Young Man of the year in 1971, Man of the Year in 1983, Louisiana Bar Foundation Jurist of the Year in 1995, and a member of the Louisiana Judiciary Commission and chairman from 1991-1992, to name a few. Well known for his integrity and commitment to his clients, he has served as mediator (via MAPS) to resolve all manner of legal disputes, and still serves as an Attorney-Chairman for medical malpractice.
