November 1994 to March 1996. Legal work included preparation of multi-count complaint and successful appeal of initial no probable cause ruling. Fines assessed against Fischer were upheld by the U.S. Supreme Court in 1998 POSTHUMOUS REINSTATEMENT OF FLORIDA BAR MEMBERSHIP OF VIRGIL D. HAWKINS (532 So.2d 669, 1988): Petitioned Florida Supreme Court for unprecedented posthumous reinstatement of Florida Bar membership of Virgil Darnell Hawkins, whose late-in-life admission to the Florida Bar was the result of his decision to sacrifice his right to admission to the University of Florida, in exchange for opening college admissions to others.
