I handle all types ofintellectual property disputes, including patent infringement, trademarkinfringement, copyright infringement, and trade secret disputes.  I also have represented and havecounseled clients in commercial litigation for over twenty-two years.  During that time, I have prosecuted anddefended virtually every type of commercial claim, including breach of contract,breach of fiduciary duty, corporate and partnership dissolution, fraud, securitiesfraud, negligent misrepresentation, unfair competition, tortious interferencewith contractual relations, and business defamation.

I am located in Dallas, Texas butI have represented clients before courts and arbitration panels throughout theUnited States.  I have tried casesto jury verdicts in many Texas counties, including Dallas County and TarrantCounty.  I also have tried cases toverdict in the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Western, andNorthern Districts of Texas.  Inaddition, I have represented clients before numerous appellate tribunals,including the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.

Over the years, my clients haveincluded numerous Fortune 500 companies; however, most of my clients today aresmall to medium-sized companies and individuals who are looking forhigh-quality legal counsel, timely service, and cost-effectiverepresentation.  Sometimes, thesecompanies are referred to me by larger firms that cannot work within a smallercompany's budget.  Other times,they come to me after they have realized they can no longer afford theircurrent law firm.  Most often, theyretain me based on my experience and reputation for obtaining good results formy clients.    

I also act as local counsel toout-of-state companies that are sued in Texas courts, including both statecourts and the United States District Courts.  Often, I work a co-counsel with out-of-state law firms,particularly in connection with patent infringement litigation in the UnitedStates District Courts for the Eastern and Northern Districts of Texas.
