Our mission has always been to treat all cases equally, whether they are large or small. If clients know you put forth your best effort, they will undoubtedly refer new clients to you. A significant portion of our practice comes from client referrals.

Most people need an attorney who is knowledgeable, personable, and attentive. We always return our clients' phone calls in a timely manner to keep them apprised of their case status.

Basically, we provide answers to all of the prospective client's legal questions. Sometimes we offer our services, but in many cases the client doesn't even need an attorney. We only offer our services to those that we truly believe that we can help.

(2015) $525,000.00 – Trucking accident settlement for a client who suffered serious neck and back injuries. A related worker’s compensation lien was also resolved favorably on behalf of the client. (2013) $225,000.00 – Automobile Accident settlement for a client who underwent neck surgery after the collision. A related worker’s compensation claim was also resolved in her favor. (2014) $1.5 million – Workers’ Compensation settlement for a client who sustained a severe spinal injury after falling from a roof. (2003) $250,000.00 – Automobile Accident settlement for a client who required ankle surgery after being injured by a negligent driver. (2013) $140,000.00 – Automobile accident settlement against the State of North Carolina for a client who was rear-ended by a state trooper. (2013) $449,000.00 – Workers’ Compensation settlement for client who sustained injuries to his back and ankle. (2009) $402,000.00 – Workers’ Compensation settlement for client who could not return to work after back surgery. (2013) $250,000.00 – Workers’ Compensation settlement for a client who underwent multiple back surgeries. (2012) $250,000 – Automobile Accident settlement for a client who was struck by an unmanned car that began to roll while undergoing repairs. (2005) $450,000.00 –Workers’ Compensation settlement (details are protected by confidentiality clause). (2007) $273,000.00 – Workers’ Compensation settlement obtained after this denied claim was litigated through the North Carolina Full Commission. Client sustained multiple injuries after passing out while trying to put out a fire caused by a ruptured fuel line. (2008) $580,000.00 – Automobile Accident settlement for a client who was forced to undergo back surgery after being rear-ended by another driver. (2000) $249,000.00 – Workers’ Compensation settlement for a client who sustained a work-related shoulder injury, and whose claim was denied by the insurance company. (2010) $91,834.00 – Workers’ Compensation settlement obtained after this denied claim was litigated through the N.C. Court of Appeals. Client suffered a heart attack while operating a tractor trailer, and both the employer and its insurance company strongly defended their denial of this claim, arguing that the heart attack was not work-related. The case, Wooten v. Newcon Transportation, was named by North Carolina Lawyer’s Weekly as one of the most important decisions of the year. (2006) $80,000.00 – Automobile Accident verdict for a client who sustained a back injury after being rear-ended by another driver. With the inclusion of interest and costs, the final judgment obtained was $90,361.78. The highest offer from the insurance company prior to trial was $30,000.00. (2004) $145,000.00 – Workers’ Compensation settlement for a client who sustained a work-related neck injury. (2010)
