Introduction: | I have worked full-time since the age of 20. I attended Brooklyn Law School on a 4 year plan, but I went to summer school to earn my Juris Doctor in 3 1/2 years. I have worked as a paralegal for the New York City Corporation Counsel, manned the Illegal Eviction Hotline, prepared briefs, and assisted attorneys in Criminal Court to prosecute Building, Fire, DOT and Health Code violations. I later represented the New York City Department of Buildings at the Environmental Control Board, and wrote appeals when necessary. After admission to the bar, I was appointed to the Kings County 18B Misdemeanor Criminal panel. After garnering several years of valuable experience there, I opened my own practice. | ||||||||
