We serve the areas of North and Central Idaho and Eastern Washington. We have helped many people survive economic distress, saved their homes, and given them the opportunity to prosper.
John Porter is an Idaho native, born in Caldwell, Idaho and raised near there on a farm in Deer Flat. Education included a bachelors degree from Idaho State University in 1966 and a law degree (Juris Doctor) from the University of Idaho in 1982. In between, John taught school for 3 years then went to work for Idaho Health and Welfare for 10 years as a social worker. As a social worker, John worked in child protection, foster care placement and supervision, adult protection and services to families in need and/or dysfunction. One of the motives for returning to law school was to be in a better position to effect positive change for people.
John has been married to Evelyn for 42 years and has two children and 4 grandchildren.
