DWI-Marijuana Intoxication Case Conclusion Date:May 30, 2014 Practice Area:DUI / DWI Outcome:All charges dropped Description:19 year old charged in State court with a DWI-Drug Intoxication. Deputy performed all standard field sobriety tests improperly, drug recognition expert's observations did not match the alleged drug. Took a deposition of the arresting deputy. It was later discovered through our investigation, the police officer was disciplined previously for showing up to work impaired by alcohol. We filed motions to suppress evidence at trial. Just days before trial, all charges were dropped by the prosecutor. Medical Professional Charged with Felony DWI in St. Louis County Case Conclusion Date:March 7, 2014 Practice Area:DUI / DWI Outcome:Charges amended to misdemeanor with no jail time Description:Client charged with 4th Offense Felony DWI after allegedly crashing into shopping carts at a local grocery store. Client allegedly urinated on themselves, failed all field sobriety, admitted to drinking and had blood drawn which was over the legal limit. JCS Law fought hard against poor police work, improper field sobriety, chain of custody issues with blood, held a preliminary hearing, deposed the arresting officer and use an expert witness at hearing on client's drivers license case.
