Mr. Simmons was admitted to the bar of the State of Illinois in November of 2006. He is a graduate of Northern Illinois University, where he earned his B.A., and he graduated cum laude from the University of Illinois College of Law, where he earned his J.D. and honors for his participation in Moot Court competitions.
Mr. Simmons was first hired with the firm as a law clerk in January 2004, and became a lawyer with the firm after his admission to the Illinois bar. Mr. Simmons practices primarily in the areas of plaintiff's personal injury, petitioner's worker's compensation, and medical malpractice defense.
