• State of Idaho v James Eytchison Practice Area: Criminal Defense Outcome: Conviction was vacated and case remanded. Client was released from prison based on the Appellate Courts order vacating the conviction. Description: Client was charged with a sex offense and the case was tried to a jury. The jury verdict was appealed to the Idaho Appellate Court on the issue of the trial Courts decision to allow certain expert testimony on behalf of the government. The Appellate court ruled that the trial Judge abused his discretion in allowing the testimony to be offered.
