Joseph Registrato thinks too much bragging goes on in television and other lawyer advertising.  The record ought to speak for itself.  

Mr. Registrato was an active duty sergeant in the aviation wing of the Untied States Marine Corps from 1965-1969, and spent a year in the Republic of Vietnam in 1968-1969.  After an honorable discharge from military service, he studied at the University of South Florida full time whilst working as a reporter (then later City Editor and Assistant Managing Editor) for the Tampa Tribune. During these sixteen years, he reported, wrote about or supervised news coverage of some of the biggest stories of the day. This happened to include the trial and punishment of two Hillsborough County circuit judges Tribune reporters learned were involved in bribery and lying to the Judicial Qualifications Commission.

At the age of 40, Mr. Registrato enrolled in Stetson University College of Law to begin a new stage of his professional life. With a passion for the law and its affect on society, he built his experience and knowledge working first for the Hillsborough County State Attorney's Office before entering private practice and then returning to public service via appointment to work at the Public Defender's Office. His time on both sides of the courtroom have helped shape him as an attorney who thoroughly and fiercely defends his clients and their rights regardless of what type of legal issue they may be facing.
