Kathleen M. Conniff, Attorney

Kathleen M. Conniff, an associate in the firm, practices primarily in the areas of family law, criminal and traffic law, and civil litigation. A 2008 cum laude graduate of Northern Illinois University College of Law, she was admitted to the bar in that same year. Kathleen attended the University of Illinois in Champaign Urbana for her undergraduate work, earning degrees in both English and Political Science.

While at Northern Illinois University College of Law, Kathleen earned a certificate for Pro Bono Service Legal work for completing over 200 hours of pro bono legal service.

Kathleen also held a graduate assistantship position with the Northern Illinois University College of Business in the Management Department. Kathleen was responsible for coordinating the honors program within the Legal Environment of Business class in addition to serving as a T.A. for that course. She held popular review sessions for each hourly exam, with often over 350 students in attendance.

Having been employed by the Champaign County State's Attorney, the Winnebago County State's Attorney and the DuPage County State's Attorney, Kathleen has an extensive background in criminal and traffic matters. Kathleen's prosecutorial experience has proven to be a tremendous benefit to the firm's clientele.

In addition, the trial experience Kathleen gained while working for various State's Attorneys has translated well into a civil courtroom, allowing Kathleen to vigorously prosecute and tenaciously defend all of her client's claims.
