Introduction: | Since 1995, Ms. Marderosian has concentrated her extensive litigation experience on commercial business litigation. Prior to joining Bradley & Gmelich, she was associated with a civil litigation firm in downtown Los Angeles which served as outside counsel for a large, internationally known long-distance telecommunications corporation and its related companies. Ms. Marderosian represented this client in a variety of civil cases including wrongful termination, breach of contract and the application of federal and state tariffs filed with the Federal Communications Commission and the California Public Utilities Commission. She successfully defended a $200 million case for unfair trade practices, unfair competition and violation of the Federal Telecommunications Act in a complex, four-week trial in the United States District Court. After having won at the trial level in the United States District Court and again in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal, Ms. Marderosian prepared and filed a successful brief in opposition to a Petition for a Writ of Certiorari in the United States Supreme Court in the matter of Evanns v. AT&T Corporation, MCI Corp. and Pacific Bell, Case No. 00-1527, on behalf two of the largest telecommunication companies in the world.
In addition to representing telecommunications companies, Ms. Marderosian's clientele also includes insurance companies in the defense of claims against commercial businesses in a variety of areas including maintenance, private security, landscaping, bio-pharmaceutical and property owners. She heads the Law and Motion and Appellate Departments at Bradley & Gmelich in addition to handling her own cases through trial. | ||||||||
