Michael Brown is an Athens, Georgia native and has lived in Athens almost his entire life. He graduated from Cedar Shoals High School and then continued on to the University of Georgia. While receiving his undergraduate degree in Management (B.B.A. - Management) he was also a member of the University of Georgia football team where he was a three year letterman.  While a member of the football team he garnered numerous athletic and academic awards.
 
After graduating from Georgia State Law School, Michael worked many years with several of the best litigators and family law attorneys in Athens and around the State of Georgia. He then went on to become President and General Counsel of a top international investment management firm where he was directly responsible for negotiating thousands of financial transactions from $1,000,000- $30,000,000. His years of being an attorney and business owner make him uniquely qualified to handle not only your express legal problems, but the business issues that often come with them.
 
Michael has over 18 years of experience and knowledge in the area of family law, criminal law and personal injury.  He has represented hundreds of different clients throughout the Athens, Gwinnett County and Northeast, Georgia area. Every action he takes in a case is intended to move his client's case to a successful, final resolution.  If that requires aggressive negotiations or aggressive litigation to obtain the desired results, that is what he will do.

Michael is married to Traci Brown and they have three children- triplets- Hollis, Drew and Kendall.  They are committed members to their church and Michael has been a volunteer Coach for youth basketball, baseball, softball and football over the past several years.
