About Morris
Morris Pataky's practice involves the litigation of bad faith insurance disputes and insurance coverage actions, as well as real estate and commercial contract actions.
His extensive experience with the defense of insurance carriers in bad faith disputes includes consulting and defending primary and excess carriers against these claims. Morris has advised carriers and handled more than 50 cases involving multiple claimants and limited insurance proceeds.
Morris also regularly handles insurance coverage litigation which involves the evaluation and defense of coverage disputes on behalf of insurance companies. He has also defended numerous foreclosures and title defect claims for mortgage companies throughout

Participated in the defense of an insurance carrier from a first party bad faith claim stemming from a failure to pay policy proceeds owed when prior counsel admitted in court documents that a previous amount paid by the carrier was not the correct amount owed under the applicable policy.
