Edward Olds litigates constitutional issues spanning retaliation against public employees, first amendment rights of fraternity members, prisoner rights cases, and voting rights. He has represented women faculty members and students in cases under Title IX including proportionality of opportunities for women to engage in interscholastic sports and sexual harassment of faculty members and students. His practice involving employment cases covers the broad spectrum of hostile work environment, race, gender, and age discrimination, the ADA, ERISA, FLSA, RICO, restrictive covenants, and retaliation.

Mr. Olds has been involved in hundreds of federal cases and numerous jury trials and appeals. Many of his clients come to him with employment or educational issues involving their current employer or school. He puts that experience to work for you by providing professional representation aimed at solving clients' problems.

We were able to successfully expunge a false child abuse report against a teacher who was falsely accused of cause a serious mental injury to student in the course of addressing disruptive behavior. We have now started a federal civil rights case on the teacher's behalf, suing the child welfare agency for conducting an inadequate investigation and retaliating against the teacher for her prior protected activity of speaking at public meetings. We have also represented students in Title IX proceedings where they were denied due process and secured a reversal of their expulsion by filing a federal court civil rights action. We have also represented school district administrators who were denied promotions due to their race. We tried an age discrimination case involving a government entity in federal court.
