Ollie Ruth Jefferson, Attorney
|
Introduction: | Since its inception in 1984, my office has practiced IMMIGRATION LAW. Before opening my own office, I was employed by the Immigration & Naturalization Service. I am a graduate of Alcorn State University in Lorman, Mississippi, and Cleveland Marshall College of Law in Cleveland, Ohio. I am also a co-founder of the Jefferson-Titus Multicultural Foundation, Inc, which between 1996 and 2000 gave grants to various organizations in support of human rights. I am a member of the State Bar College, in recognition of my continuing legal education hours exceeding those mandated by the State of Texas of all lawyers. I do not consider myself to simply be your attorney, I am an advocate for persons wanting to better their lives, and that of each successive generation, through acquiring legal status in the United States. Every year, thousands of individuals and families make the decision to leave their homeland to come to America. Some come for education, business and work opportunities, to join family and loved ones from whom they have been separated, or to escape war and persecution in their home country. Most often, they leave their country because they want to make a brand new start and ensure their future in a country known around the world as the "land of opportunity". If you are interested in living in the United States, you will need to see someone who can help you understand U.S. immigration laws. I have the experience to help you determine if you qualify for permanent residence or citizenship. |
