K.S. v G.S.
Attorney for the Plaintiff in a family matter case in which said Plaintiff sued her husband for support of their infant child who was conceived via artificial insemination (AID). The Defendant had undergone a vasectomy and was unable to have children so he agreed with his wife to use a donor to aid in the process of his wife conceiving a child. It took several tries during which time the Defendant was supportive, but once the Plaintiff was pregnant, the Defendant no longer wanted her to continue with the pregnancy. The Defendant left the residence and the Plaintiff filed for a divorce and support. The Plaintiff was granted custody and the court ruled in her favor, agreeing that the husband should support the child financially.

STATE V. SEYMOUR
Appellant: Attorney for the plaintiff/appellant, the State of New Jersey. The state charged the defendant, Corwin Barrett Seymour, with first degree possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, second degree eluding and third degree possession of cocaine among other drug related charges. Following his indictment the defendant moved to suppress the cocaine that was thrown from his vehicle after the police signaled for him to stop. His request was granted and the state appeals. Upon review of the case the appeals court found that the court did err in granting the defendants request. They also found that the cocaine thrown from the vehicle was admissible. The order of suppression was reversed and the case was remanded to the trial court for further proceedings.
