A recent divorce mediation study showed that parties involved in mediation are likely to comply with the agreement because each party pro actively voiced their concerns and negotiated the terms of the outcome. Furthermore, the study has demonstrated a high degree of correlation between mediated resolutions and non-custodial parent involvement in child rearing.
