Tom has also been involved in handling workers' compensation and subrogation claims both as a litigator and as a departmental managing partner. He has presented numerous lectures on issues of importance to the insurance industry, including litigation strategy in construction defect and mold claims, subrogation recognition and recovery techniques, investigating and litigating uninsured/underinsured motorist claims and identifying the red flags of fraudulent claims. Tom was a member of the Orange County Superior Court Arbitration Panel and has completed a 40 hour course on Mediation.
Tom graduated from Western State University, College of Law in 1984, and received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Utah in 1981. He is a member of the Colorado, California and Utah State Bars, the American Bar Association and the El Paso County Bar Association.
