Mr. Cutler represents clients in claims arising from breach of contract, shareholder derivative disputes, partnerships, unfair trade practices, interference with contract, fraud, the Uniform Commercial Code, non-competition agreements, wage & hour, wrongful termination, sexual harassment, age discrimination, construction defects, construction delay claims, duty of loyalty, trade secrets, fraud and privacy matters.

Mr. Cutler also advises and represents clients on matters concerning contracts, licensing agreements, distributorship agreements, trade secrets, commercial leases, corporate maintenance, selection of business entities, employment agreements, employment manuals and construction contracts, as well as the fiduciary duties of officers and directors, conflict of interests and corporate management issues.

Prior to founding Cutler P.C., Mr. Cutler was a principal with the firm of Knapp, Petersen & Clarke (KPC) in Glendale, Calif. At KPC, he was the lead trial Attorney on a variety of complex business, employment and construction matters, as well as intellectual property matters.

Mr. Cutler also practiced with the international law firm of Morgan, Lewis and Bockius, where he handled a variety of litigation matters in the areas of securities, anti-trust, RICO, real estate, contracts, construction, consumer protection and contractual disputes.

Mr. Cutler has also served as a court-appointed mediator.

Before entering law, Mr. Cutler was a personnel manager with the Department of Defense. There, he advised management of naval ship-to-ship weapons engineering departments on personnel matters, including staffing, training and disciplinary issues.

Alimony comes in many flavors. In Portas v. Lapresa, Superior Court, Judicial District of Stamford-Norwalk at Stamford, Docket No. FSTFA094017271S (Jan. 28, 2011, Wenzel, J.), the parties were married for approximately twelve years.  Having married in Buenos Aires, Argentina, they moved to the United States in January of 2000 and purchased a condominium in Stamford, Connecticut soon after their arrival.
Court Modifies Unallocated Alimony and Support Down to $3,200 per Month
In Rosen v. Grand, Superior Court, Judicial District of Stamford-Norwalk, Docket No. FSTFA044000277S (Aug. 25, 2011, Wenzel, J.), the plaintiff’s husband filed a motion to modify his unallocated alimony and support payments six years after the parties’ divorce.  The plaintiff and defendant were originally married in 1989 and had two children together. When they were divorced on January 13, 2005, the court incorporated into its final decree the terms of a separation agreement entered into between the parties.
