Family of four, whose primary bread winner was out of work for over a year, became very late on their house payments. The family home was near foreclosure when the employment situation improved. With the additional income they could again begin making their house payments but did not have the funds to stop the foreclosure. With a Chapter 13 Bankruptcy we were able to, stop the foreclosure process, restructure the arrears, and substantially reduce their obligations.

What should clients look for in a lawyer?Experience, Integrity, Attentiveness to the needs of the clients, all are important for a good lawyer.
How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?Unfortunately judges can be very different in how they deal with specific issues. Knowledge of the particular judge's preferences can really help when planning and processing a bankruptcy case.

What information do you need in a free phone consultation?In an initial phone consultation we would like to know how much money you make, how large the household is, and the nature of your debts and how much you owe.

What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?We really appreciate being able to save a family's home, or free them from the crushing burden of their debt.
