Andrew J. Pratt, Attorney

Andrew Pratt's practice focuses on Public Finance and Economic Development and Redevelopment.

Andrew joined Kennedy & Graven in 2007.  Andrew was raised in Northfield, Minnesota, and attended college at the University of Denver where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and graduated magna cum laude in 2000 with a double major in Public Affairs and Journalism Studies. After college, Andrew worked for a year as a staff reporter and sports editor for a weekly community newspaper in Cottage Grove, Minnesota, then entered law school at the University of Minnesota.

During law school, Andrew served on the Minnesota Law Review as a Note and Comment/Research Editor. While on the Law Review, Andrew published a student comment on the ramifications of the Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act of 2002 on free speech. He earned his law degree magna cum laude in 2004. Andrew clerked for the Honorable G. Barry Anderson and the Honorable Christopher Dietzen at the Minnesota Court of Appeals and worked at Fryberger, Buchanan, Smith & Frederick in Duluth before joining the public finance group at Kennedy & Graven.

Andrew lives with his wife and son in St. Paul. His interests include reading, travel, running, fishing, and cheering for the Minnesota Twins.
