QUESTIONNAIRE
I prevailed in a civil matter where the client was being sued for breach of lease. The breach and damages were the fault of a roommate who was in hiding. I got the case dismissed as to my client only saving her from financial ruin.
How did you build a successful practice?I started with pro-bono work and referrals, gradually building the practice over a period of years.
What should clients look for in a lawyer?Responsiveness, experience and the ability to communicate.
How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?Helpful but not crucial.
What information can you provide in a free phone consultation?I don't do phone consultations. Consultations are for gathering information, assessing needs, explaining legal options and setting a fee arrangement.
What differentiates you from other lawyers in your community?I give each client my personal attention. I personally attend every Court hearing and never send a junior associate.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?Getting equal justice under the law for my clients.
What are your other interests in addition to law?Classic Automobiles.
