I recently had a client under investigation for shooting his son. With my assistance, my client was able to convey why he shot his son, how his perception of events caused him to act in self-defense, and my client was ultimately cleared of any criminal wrong-doing.
What information can you provide in a free phone consultation?My qualifications, possible outcomes and defenses, and information on what to expect in court.
What information do you need in a free phone consultation?The client's name, date of birth, county where charged, charge, criminal history, and the client's expectations.
What differentiates you from other lawyers in your community?Availability and knowledge. I don't mind my clients having my cell phone number or contacting me after normal business hours. Also, the focus of my practice is gun-related law. I represent clients in all types of cases related to gun use, specifically self-defense cases, and I am an avid shooter myself. As a certified Use of Force Analyst, I have the specific knowledge to review the facts of your case to put you in the best position in court.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?Bringing a feeling of relief to my clients. I enjoy being the person that takes the stress of a situation away from my client and bears most of that burden. I recognize that being charged with a crime, particularly a serious crime can have implications on one's career, family, finances, and health. I work to get the best possible resolution for my client so that the other areas of his or her life do not suffer so much.
What are your other interests in addition to law?I am a licensed pilot (20 plus years) and enjoy traveling.
