We build relationships with our clients and their families

What should clients look for in a lawyer?

Our expertise is founded on the knowledge that we have acquired and continue to acquire over the years.  We believe strongly in continuing legal education and regularly attend seminars and conferences so as to stay up to date on the Insurance Act and its regulations, the litigation process, and medical terminology.

How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?
This is very important, as we work with our clients’ treatment provides and other members of their health care/rehabilitation team, as well as medical experts, to advance our clients’ accident benefits files and lawsuits.

What information can you provide in a free phone consultation?

we generally provide information about the steps that the injured person needs to take to have his/her claim move forward.  We provide information about limitation periods and some of the procedural requirements of a lawsuit.  In the case of motor vehicle accidents, we provide some basic information about the litigation process.

What information do you need in a free phone consultation?
We ask for the date of the caller’s accident, their injuries, whether they have had any medical treatment and if so the nature of that medical treatment.  We also ask them if they have had any contact with the other party’s insurance company and, if they are calling about a motor vehicle accident, if they have had any contact with their own auto insurance.  If the caller has not been able to work, we ask for information about their employment.

What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?

For us, the most rewarding aspect of being personal injury lawyers is making a difference in the lives of our clients, reassuring them that their financial and legal affairs are being looked after, and helping them attain financial compensation in the event that they are unable to work and have extraordinary health care costs.
