Mr. Polen is one of the best Attorneys in town. I could feel his integrity, honesty, compassion and understanding as soon as I went to his office for initial consultation. I had consulted quite a few attorneys who offered me to get the legal expenses from the opposing party before I retained Mr. Polen for my case. He was upfront and honest about his approach towards the case and how he is going to handle the case. He never gave me any false promises and always kept a high road on the conflicts. He proposed many settlement agreements with the defendant counsel, and they would deny it for some outrageous excuse, but Mr. Polen kept his calm and made sure that his proposal is well understood. Defendant counsel did everything possible to make the case complicated and to increase my counsel fees. Finally, when the defendant pushed it to a trial, with God’s grace, the verdict was better than what we expected, all because of his approach to the case and the experienced way of presentation. He was very conscious about my cost and made it a point to bring it to the Courts attention that I am on limited income taking care of two minor children and cannot afford this unnecessary lengthy case. He did what was right for the kids, and I. He cares about my children and I and enjoyed hugs from my children whenever they met. He was very respectful towards the defendant and never made her feel intimidated. He was very kind and generous with his time and worked on just the issues that needed to be addressed on and not to waste time or money.
