BEWARE!! I had Heather Scalzo as my attorney against DSS for almost 2 years and after being extremely underprepared for trial and letting DSSs attorney walk all over her, Ive had my treatment plan done since January of 2020 and was in 100% compliance but she wouldn’t even listen to me and completely worked against me in every fashion! In mid October 2020 I retained an attorney named Ellen Babb, who in 2 short months successfully reunited me and my baby girls! She had the same information to work with and I hadn’t completed anything new for my treatment plan in over a year! Ellen Babb was fierce, aggressive and diligent! DSS was dead set against me but Ellen overcame in a very short time when Heather Scalzo refused to even try! Ellen Babb is who you want if you need someone to have your back and get it done, she doesn’t fear DSS attorney Rebecca Wray and Heather Scalzo folded so fast under the first bit of pressure and resistance, then never tried after that!!!!!! Thank god for Ellen Babb!!! What a turn around in 2 months!! From Termination of my parental rights to reunification in no time!!

Heather Scalzo was unbelievably attentive and caring. She was very knowledgeable and responsive. I would highly recommend her and plan on using her for everything in the future!
