Michelle's communication is absolutely awful, Michelle continued to try to get me in a payment I could not afford. Yes, my payments had gotten behind, I take FULL accountability for it. 100% I asked her what would happen if I didn't come up with, you'll lose your car, your landlord can evict you, but Happy Thanksgiving!! She wouldn't call my landlords attorney back. I showed up for myself (not saying she was suppose to go, but, she could've returned his repeated calls) Thankfully I have some really supportive ppl around me, I was about to make the payment in it's entirely. She attempted to email & work with me. I however knew I wanted nothing to do with her & had arranged for a local attorney to accept my case. When other attorneys say how rude she is, it's a huge huge red flag. If at all possible do your research before hiring her. The ONLY decent thing she has is Her assistant, Jennie. Michelle how many more clients have you lost in the past few weeks? Even the trustee said the fees are outrageous & unjustified. Its horrible you prey on people already in horrible situations. You did NOT get me more time, my payment did ???????? At best, Jennie is the ONLY thing positive about your "office" because you Michelle, you are a horrible excuse for an attorney
Absolutely incredible experience with my chapter 7 bankruptcy. The entire team was nothing but kind and prompt to respond if I needed anything. I think my process went well because I understood that there were going to be a lot of documents I would need to provide and I was always ready to get them to the lawyers promptly. I can't thank their entire team enough for giving me a fresh start. I would highly recommend them in the future.
Michelle wouldn't listen to me. Put me in a chapter 13, when I qualified for a chapter 7. I owed $758 on my mortgage. I told her I would make that up. My response back from her was you will lose your house and car. Mow I'm stuck with no attorney. Still paying weekly payments for something I could have been done with. And paying an attorney for nothing.
I went to them to help with my debt. I wasnt sure if I should even start filing, as I am a single parent with low income. Michelle told me they could work with me. I filed and then was unable to afford the bi weekly payment (job loss) so my case was dismissed. Now I have to pay for a bankruptcy that never happened but my biggest problem is I have asked for receipts of my payments, so I can keep track of the balance and they refuse to provide the info. I have asked them for over a year.
All staff are very warm & friendly. Atty., Kate & assistant, Todd are absolutely wonderful as is Bridgett, who's the first person we usually see or talk to. All other staff has been great to work with, as well! They fight for you and you can feel that they're on your side!
