There he met and married Pat Haystead, who shares his interest in politics. They have three sons, and live in Upper Arlington, Ohio. Fred is a founding partner of the law firm and practices primarily in private sector labor law. He has served on labor management committees for both the American Bar Association and the Ohio State Bar Association. While most of his time is spent fighting for the rights of employees, Fred is a keen golfer and avid OSU basketball fan. He rarely misses OSU games or the tournament season.
