Ginger Kaye Maxted, Attorney

March 22, 1976, Ginger was raised in Norman, Oklahoma and currently makes her home in Oklahoma City. She received her B.A. in Political Science from the University of Houston in 1999, then received her Juris Doctorate in 2003 from Saint Louis University School of Law. Ms. Maxted visited away at the University of Oklahoma School of Law for her final year of legal training.  Ms. Maxted is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, and is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court Western District of Oklahoma.

Ms. Maxted is a member of the American Association for Justice and the Oklahoma Association for Justice.  She is a member of the Oklahoma County Bar Association and South Oklahoma City Lawyers Association. Her primary areas of practice are: civil litigation, personal injury, complex civil litigation, all areas of health law including: elder law, nursing home abuse and negligent elder care; corporate strategy and structure, and family law including divorce and custody disputes.

Ms. Maxted's seminars include: STARK, HIPAA and FDCPA for physicians; Physician Vendor Relationships; Physician Billing and Third Party Billing; and Physician Collections; How to Present Your Case at Trial, NBI 2008; Overcoming Discovery Abuse, NBI 2009. Ms. Maxted has an extensive medical background, giving her an in depth understanding of issues in medical cases. In addition to her legal training and experience, Ms. Maxted has a fifteen year history of teaching and public speaking.

Ms. Maxted is a Council member for the North Side YMCA, where she coaches soccer; she is currently president of Edmond Specialty Hospital's Board of Directors, and Ethics Board. Ms. Maxted and her family are  members of the Church of the Servant, United Methodist Church, where Ms. Maxted teaches Sunday School.
