Jefferson Mabrito is the principal attorney of The Mabrito Law Firm, serving clients throughout the State of North Carolina.

Jefferson Mabrito has a varied practice, representing individuals and businesses in bankruptcy, debt relief, mortgage relief, criminal & traffic defense, Wills & Trusts, personal injury matters, real estate closings and business law.  From making an initial decision whether to file a bankruptcy to estate planning, Jefferson is committed to providing personal, effective service to individual and business clients.

Prior to starting his own law firm, Jefferson worked in corporate finance as an associate at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP in Charlotte, North Carolina, where his principal practice involved the representation of domestic and foreign commercial banks, investment banks and other financial institutions in a variety of financing transactions, including leveraged finance and other syndicated bank loan transactions, distressed debt trading, bond offerings and asset-backed lending transactions.

Jefferson received his J.D. with honors from the University of Texas School of Law in Austin, Texas, and received his Master of Laws (LL.M) with distinction from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland, U.K.  He is also a magna cum laude graduate of Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.
