As a Tax Compliance and Policy Counsel, I leverage my extensive experience in tax compliance, tax controversy, legislative optimization, and tax policy aspects to provide expert advice and representation for clients. With over 18 years of experience in the legal and legislative arenas, I have been awarded with honorary membership to revenue organizations in Alabama, California, Florida, and Texas, and have served as the hearing officer for over three hundred (300) tax appeals for local governments and federal audits. I am also an actively licensed attorney and an accountant, and I hold a Juris Doctor degree from Thomas Goode Jones School of Law and a master's degree in accounting from Spring Hill College, a CPA (inactive), and an honorary LL.M in Taxation through the IRS's in-house partnership with the university (which was free so cannot place on a signature), National Tax Lawyer of the Year in 2020, Top 40 under 40, and many others that came with no check but were peer awards. My goal is to help clients navigate complex tax issues and achieve their financial goals, both short-term and long-term.
