Mr. Ranieri began working for the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office after two summers interning during law school. He handled several jury trial, numerous bench trials and hearings. In 2006 Mr. Ranieri indicted cases with Grand Jury procedures and prosecuted felonies. While a member of the District Attorney's Office he was a member of the Sex Abuse Prosecution team. In 2006 he concluded his tenure at the office by second chairing a vehicular homicide prosecution.
In November 2006 Mr. Ranieri moved left New York and began working in Delaware for Edwards Angell Palmer & Dodge. Over the three years employed in their Wilmington, Delaware office he practiced bankruptcy, toxic tort work, insurance defense, and civil defense work.
