Samuel Milledge | Houston Estate Lawyer

Mr. Milledge received his Juris Doctorate Degree from Thurgood Marshall School of Law in 1985. He has extensive experience in the areas of bankruptcy, family law, and personal injury and criminal law.


Mr. Milledge received a Master of Music Education Degree from The University of Southern Mississippi in 1980. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Music Education from Alabama State University in 1977. While attending Alabama State University, he played in the marching band, concert band, and orchestra. He became of member Phi Mu Alpha Professional Musician Fraternity. He also became a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity. Mr. Milledge was member of the honor society and graduated with honors with Bachelor of Science Degree in Music Education.


Mr. Milledge grew up in the Montgomery Alabama and was educated in the public school system of Montgomery County, Alabama. He graduated from G.W. Carver High School of Montgomery, Alabama. He played in the band and on the basketball team.


When not practicing law, Mr. Milledge is a professional jazz musician with the Conrad Johnson Orchestra in Houston, Texas. He plays tenor and bass trombone with the group. He has played with the Conrad Johnson Orchestra since 1982. Prior to coming to Houston and joining the Conrad Johnson Orchestra, he played R&B music and played with several recording artists such as Clarence Carter, Betty Wright, and Joe Simon.


Mr. Milledge has served on several boards as a volunteer. He was a charter board member of North East Cultural Art Center, a fine arts program that provided experiences in fine arts to inner city youths in Houston, Texas. He is a past president of Law Focus Education Committee an auxiliary arm of the State Bar of Texas that assist state educators in providing materials and ideas for teaching civics, government and law in the public school systems.
