It has always been my dream to be an attorney and help families. Graduating in the top ten of my high school class, I studied my first two years at Quinebaug Valley Community College. Then I earned a Bachelors degree from Eastern Connecticut State University with a dual major in Psychology and Political Science. After spending a few years in the real world, I attended Roger Williams School of Law in Bristol Rhode Island. In my first year of law school, I married my “hometown-hunnie” Josh, who was incredibly supportive of my dreams, and crazy study schedule. My law school internships included the Department of Labor and Training Legal Department, the Rhode Island Mediation Department, a small Connecticut law firm, and a Providence firm focusing on Wills. I also spent two years on the Moot Court, served on the Executive Moot Court Board, scored highly in a competition in New Orleans. I am a successful mediator, licensed attorney in Connecticut and Rhode Island, and member of the Windham Bar Association, Connecticut Bar Association and Rhode Island Bar Association. Now it is time to take all that I have learned over the last decade and hang my own shingle. While focusing on estate planning, wills, probate, divorces, and family modifications, it is my goal to grow to a firm that can help you with all the needs of your family.

Joseph C. Maya believes in providing large firm experience but with small firm communication and attention. Attorney Karen Malachi, is a native of Washington D.C. Karen Malachi is a graduate of Emory University School of Law, and Oglethorpe University. As a partner in the firm, Brent specializes in representing employees in wrongful termination cases. In 1994, he went on to earn a bachelor's degree at the University of California at Santa Barbara, where he graduated with honors. After college, Brent followed through with his ambition of becoming a lawyer, enrolling at the University of San Diego School of Law, where he earned his law degree in 1997. It was in law school that Brent decided that representing individuals, particularly those who have been wronged, was much more rewarding than defending corporations.

Keith Custis is a compassionate and dedicated litigator who founded Custis Law, P.C. to help individuals facing difficult work issues. Tracy Neal-Lopez is the founding member of the firm; she has wealth of trial and litigation experience, having taken numerous cases to judgment, including jury trials, bench trials and arbitration. She has represented many clients facing a vast array of life changing situations and she prides herself on being willing to take cases all the way to trial. Tracy represents either plaintiffs or defendants in state and federal court. She fights injustice, focusing her litigation skills primarily in employment and labor disputes. Her areas of practice include, wrongful termination, wage and hour, misclassification, whistleblower retaliation, interference with prospective economic advantage, non-compete provisions, defamation, breach of employment contract, discrimination and harassment. She also handles business and corporate litigation matters. Such as matters involving partnership disputes, corporate dissolution, breach of contract, fraud and misrepresentation, and unfair business practices. One of her primary achievements in her legal work was before the California Court of Appeals where she successfully challenged the assumption of risk doctrine in a case entitled Lackner vs. North (2006) 135 Cal. App. 4th 1188. Tracy received her law degree from Loyola Law School. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
