Thomas P. Heeney, Jr. was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (1967) and was raised in Doylestown, Buck County, PA where he attended and graduated from Central Bucks High School East (1986). While in high school, Mr. Heeney was a standout cross country and track and field runner. Mr. Heeney is also an Eagle Scout, a recipient of the Union League of Philadelphia Good Citizenship Award and a recipient of the Good Citizenship Award from the Bucks County Chamber of Commerce. Educationally, Mr. Heeney attended Shippensburg University in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania where he earned both a Bachelor of Science Degree (1990) and a Master’s Degree (1991) in Public Administration. Thereafter, Mr. Heeney earned his Juris Doctorate from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in Cleveland, Ohio (1995). Professionally, Thomas P. Anthony P. Sgro is a partner and founding member of Sgro & Roger, LLC. After attending the University of San Diego for both his undergraduate education and law school, Mr. Sgro returned to Las Vegas and began practicing primarily in the area of criminal defense. In short order, he became a “death qualified” attorney and focused on defending those charged with capital murder offenses. ​ After trying numerous cases, Mr. Sgro used his unique trial experience to branch out into other areas of law, including personal injury, entertainment, and business law. Remarkably, he found his trial skill set transferred to those areas as well. Since the beginning of his career, Mr. Sgro has tried over 125 jury trials in both the civil and criminal arena. James N. Scarff, II, is a transplant from Jackson, Mississippi, where he was born and raised. After high school he initially played football at the University of Mississippi until an injury ended his football career. He then transferred to Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi where he would receive his Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in May 2003. Shortly thereafter, James received his Master of Business Administration degree from Millsaps College in May 2005. While at Millsaps College he received the Millsaps Award, Endowed Scholarship, and the Dean’s Scholarship. In August of 2005, James began law school at Mississippi College School of Law in Jackson, Mississippi. While in law school, James was a member of the Environmental Law Society and one of the founding members of the Sports & Entertainment Law Society, while managing to stay on the Dean’s List. After graduating in the top quarter of his law school class, James went to work for The Penton Law Firm out of Bogalusa, Louisiana where he practiced Mass Tort Litigation. His firm also served on the Plaintiff Steering Committee (PSC) for those harmed by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. Kimberly’s practice focuses on complex litigation, white-collar criminal defense, government and internal investigations, and arbitration. Born and raised in Mid-Michigan, Casey attended Michigan State University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Advertising. Casey worked for years in advertising, marketing, and business consultation before deciding to attend law school. In 2013, Casey graduated Cum Laude from Thomas M. Cooley Law School (now Western Michigan University Cooley Law School), with a concentration in Intellectual Property. While attending law school, Casey worked on various consumer protection projects with the Attorney General of Michigan, as well as interning for an East Lansing based law firm. In 2014, Casey was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan, and is licensed to practice in the state of Michigan, is admitted to practice in the Michigan Federal Court of the Western District, and has been admitted to practice in the Colorado Federal Court, as well as the United States Tax Court. Since becoming licensed, Casey has been working as a solo practitioner in Michigan.
