Octavio “Tav” Gomez is a managing partner at The Consumer Lawyers. Previously he served as the Head of the Consumer Protection Department of Morgan & Morgan. He has represented Thousands of across the Nation. Mr. Gomez has earned a reputation for aggressive and dedicated representation in complex civil litigation. Originally from Colombia, South America, Mr. Gomez moved to the United States as a child. He was raised in in Fort Lauderdale, FL and attended Florida State University for his undergraduate studies. After earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science, he went on to earn his Juris Doctorate at the Florida State University College of Law. While attending law school, Mr. Gomez served as an intern with the Agency for Health Care Administration. After graduating law school, Mr. Gomez began working as a state prosecutor at the State Attorney’s office in Tampa, Florida. As a prosecuting attorney, he handled a multitude of felony cases, including habitual felony offender, 10-20-Life cases, grand theft, and trafficking cases. Mr. Gomez moved on from the State Attorney’s office in 2003 to become a named partner with Taracks, Gomez & Rickman, practicing primarily in the area of criminal defense and personal injury. During his tenure at the firm, he handled high profile cases including 1st-degree murder, vehicular homicide, complex mortgage fraud, extradition and tax fraud. Mr. Gomez has also handled civil and administrative cases involving the Federal Trade Commission, the Drug Enforcement Agency and the Internal Revenue Service. Mr. Gomez’s became the National Head of the Consumer Protection at Morgan & Morgan and focuses primarily on Federal Litigation, on the FCRA, FDCPA, TCPA, and other consumer issues. He uses this extensive knowledge and experience in the courtroom, all to the benefit of his clients. Mr. Gomez has developed an invaluable understanding of the discovery phase and trial preparation. He has represented high profile cases in both Federal and State Court. Mr. Gomez has been involved in some of the largest individual settlement agreements in FCRA and TCPA cases around the nation. He has a deep understanding of the policies and procedures employed by most banks and debt collectors and has mastered credit reporting as instituted by Congress in relation to the FCRA. Mr. Gomez is a member of the Florida Bar, the Georgia Bar, The Pennsylvania Bar and numerous Federal Courts throughout the Country. He is fluent in Spanish and has served as lead attorney in more than 60 jury trials and hundreds of bench trials, in both Federal and State Courts. With over 20 years of legal experience, he handles cases with strategic aggressiveness to maximize case results.

Leslie focuses her advocacy on student disciplinary processes, specifically at the college administrative level. This includes advisement in university conduct proceedings from investigations through appeals; academic misconduct accusations; Title IX cases; student organization defense; and specific hazing education and risk management advice for Greek organizations, sports teams, and clubs. Prior to starting Albeit Masters, LLC, Leslie co-founded and grew an education specific law firm for almost a decade, practiced as defense counsel to a prominent Columbus insurance litigation firm, and served as a defense attorney on criminal and traffic matters, gaining valuable litigation and courtroom experience.

After graduation, Angelo worked as a Compliance Officer for United National Bank in Washington, DC and Chase Manhattan Bank in New York, and in the Business and Finance and Real Estate Departments at Ballard, Spahr, Andrews & Ingersoll in Philadelphia. In 1989, he began his private practice. His practice is focused primarily on criminal defense and civil rights litigation, and Probate, Estates, personal injury and real estate law and litigation. He has extensive trial experience and has obtained both acquittals in criminal matters and substantial settlements for his clients whose civil rights have been violated. Angelo is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, the U.S. Tax Court, and the Supreme Court of the United States. His professional affiliations include and have included the Philadelphia Bar Association, the Barristers Association of Philadelphia, the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association, and the Pennsylvania Bar Association. He is a Certified Arbitrator with the Philadelphia Stock Exchange, the NASD, the NYSE and the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas, as well as the U.S District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He also serves as a redress attorney for the Pennsylvania NAACP.

T. McCall Stern ("McCall") is active in her community and has a passion for serving others. She practices predominately in the areas of estate planning, probate, corporate law, and fiduciary litigation. In 2014, she started the law firm and Purposed Planning, a non-profit focused on supporting elders, veterans and caregivers and on promoting a collaborative approach to planning. She received her Doctor of Jurisprudence from Mississippi College School of Law, graduating in the top 10% of her class. Prior to starting McCall Stern, PLLC, she worked for another law firm for eight years. During that time, she gained integral legal experience in the areas of business and corporate law, litigation, tax, estate planning, guardianships and conservatorships, and probate. Larry is a family law specialist, certified by the California Board of Legal Specialization, with the highest rating by Martindale-Hubbell as AV-Preeminent. He has practiced family law exclusively since 1975, and was certified as a specialist at the beginning of the certification program in 1980. In addition to family law, Larry has had successful trials in San Francisco and Monterey involving damages to real and personal property. He has also litigated securities actions and estate proceedings. Larry has experience across the entire range of family law matters, including prenuptial agreements, child custody, and family law matters involving jurisdictional, bankruptcy, immigration, and tax issues. Larry was born in Reno, Nevada October 23, 1941, attended Reno High School (winning honors in debating and the state championship in extemporaneous speaking), and then attended Northwestern University where he was on the Inter Fraternity Council and acted as its Student Senate Representative and earned a B.A in Philosophy. He attended Hastings College of Law, was on the Moot Court Board, and graduated with a J.D in 1967. He then attended New York University, and earned an LL.M in Corporation Law. After returning to San Francisco, Larry became a partner in Cushing, Cullinan, Hancock and Rothert, before beginning his own law practice in family law. Larry's experience in family law grew with its evolution into one of the most complex, demanding areas of law practice. As part of this expanded range of experience, Larry became interested in the relationship between the management of complex family law issues of a more personal nature, particularly those involving child custody, and began to include a practice of regular consultation with therapists as a way to obtain better understanding of issue management in especially difficult situations. With his wife, Jan C. Thorpe, PhD, and Ron Grassi, now retired, Larry conducted a successful series of continuing education programs in San Francisco designed to expand the family law practitioner's use of consulting therapists to bring greater insight into family law issues, particularly in child custody cases. Larry continues to be fascinated with the variety and complexity of family law cases and derives great satisfaction in solving problems and bringing cases to a settled conclusion without litigation, if possible. It has been particularly rewarding for Larry to be able to practice family law with his sons, his daughter in law and his wife, who acts as a consultant, to whom Larry gives primary credit for engineering such a successful marriage of work and family life. Larry has been active in local community affairs, and is the past President of the Kensington Improvement Council.
